Created to showcase the individuality of this site and the quality that can be achieved from carefully selected fruit. This wine tells the story of one vineyard, one place and one vintage. With a limited amount of bottles produced.

Our Single Vineyard Stonewell Shiraz showcases the true quality of the special vineyard. The wine opens with an intense layering of dense black fruits, from blackberry, plum and dark mulberry to hints of sweet ripe blueberry.
Further time in the glass reveals a more distinct olive note rolling into a deeper array of peppercorn, vanilla, and dusty mocha characters. Generous from the first sip, complex flavours of charred oak, coffee bean, and dark bitter chocolate dance across the palate supported by a bright acid core, fine tannin backbone, and long lingering finish. A rich and concentrated wine showing the true power of our Stonewell vineyard, which will only further improve with age.

This wine will complement rich, slow-cooked dishes including lamb shoulder, braised beef, chargrilled steak and game meats. Vegetarian pairings include wild mushroom risotto, roasted eggplant and truffle-infused dishes, while aged cheeses provide a classic finishing touch.

A significant volume of dark, inky, blackberried fruit flavour comes walled with a significant spread of firm, dry, authoritative tannin. The word monumental springs to mind, though balance too is a key feature – within a context of all-over size. Musk, plum, dark chocolate, asphalt, rust, roasted peppercorns and saltbush notes all play roles, though all too come rolled as one. There’s a bright, saturated-red-roses element to this wine which is most beguiling. There’s genuine swagger too, served as svelte as you can imagine. July 2026

The Turkey Flat name has been revered and very much a Barossa darling for a number of years, but the time has come to elevate a wine and put a stake in the ground to define it as the flagship. Welcome to the Single Vineyard Stonewell Shiraz. Sourced from the ironstone rich red clay and loam soils of the western Barossa, this is unapologetically big, generous and cut from the old school Barossa cloth. Dense black fruits, berry pie and blueberry compote power through the palate, while smoked meats and prosciutto bring irresistible charcuterie board vibes. Dried thyme and sage weave in savoury detail before meat rub and exotic spices drive long through to a moreish finish. There's a fair whack of oak at this early stage, delivering charcoal, wood smoke and a touch of oak sweetness, but it feels like a wine that will benefit from some bottle age to let everything settle. The fruit quality is undeniable, the structure is impressive, and as a first release, this is an excellent debut that firmly plants its flag. July 2026
