The Barossa was blessed with good rain fall in the growing season preceding vintage 2022. Combined with a cool, dry summer, this made for ideal ripening conditions for our grapes. These favourable conditions have led to wines from this vintage having great balance of flavour and intensity.
A nose packed full of dense blue and black fruits combine with savoury notes of graphite, smoked meat and dried herbs all complemented by a seamless oak profile. The palate is rich and long with great depth and elegance, encapsulated in a tightly woven tannin frame and fresh mineral finish ensuing this wine will cellar successfully for many years to come.
